Projects that are in use, with numbers where numbers exist. The focus of recent years has been cetrac GmbH, before that around 100 clients from retail, industry, healthcare and agriculture.
cetrac 2026
Scaffolding & formwork dealer
Head of Marketing, IT coordination and development at cetrac GmbH in Leipzig, a specialist dealer for new and used scaffolding and formwork: 250,000 parts, 24,000 m² of warehouse space, 3,500 customers in 42 countries. A one person digital department that owns strategy, delivery and quality assurance and orchestrates AI agents as a tool.
- Website relaunch of cetrac.com: TYPO3 12, new information architecture, category and product structure, Solr shop. Redesign with Philipp Schade and Stephan Gonder.
- EasyFlow Suite (your easy process): an own product line of 5 free calculators plus a scaffolding manager, 7 languages including RTL, on an own Hetzner server with Docker and Caddy.
- Press publication of the tools in the bauhandwerk newsletter, Bauverlag, confirmed for August 2026.
FameWriting: graffiti knowledge that grows with the scene
FameWriting is my private, free portal for graffiti writing in 15 languages. At its heart is a database that grows every day: the GraffWiki with artists, terms and history, Style Roots tracing where styles came from, from Philadelphia and New York to the whole world, plus original fonts to download.

Art, graffiti and lettering have been part of my life since the early 90s. With FameWriting I can finally build what I always missed: a place that shows graffiti as art, not as vandalism.
Technology and benefits in detail
- Sourced, not claimed. Every GraffWiki entry shows openly whether it is confirmed by several sources, by one source or disputed. Every milestone in Style Roots has at least two sources.
- Scene rules built in. The system automatically blocks real names, arrests and times of offences, including on import.
- 15 languages. A language only goes live once at least 90 percent is translated, with clean hreflang tags.
- Fast on mobile. In a lab test the start page loads on mobile in 1.5 instead of 11.6 seconds (Largest Contentful Paint, audit of 10 Oct 2026).
- Its own visual language. Its own icon font, locally hosted fonts and hand-drawn sketches instead of other people's work.
- Taking part without comment drama. Likes, crossing out and a private flickbook instead of comment threads. Every contribution is reviewed before it goes live, with ranks from toy to king.
What came out of it at cetrac
The visible side is the website. The work behind it concerns the warehouse, the ERP system and daily operations: a self-built stocktaking app that turns any company phone into a scanner, zoning of the entire warehouse, and live stock that goes to the website every morning.

From 2012 to 2020 I worked as a freelance visual designer via alt/cramer change factory: concept, creative work and the design of the relaunch concepts themselves, plus visual, screen and motion design. Wendeclever: the energy transition at home, done the smart way
Wendeclever is my private, free information portal on the energy transition, without ads or affiliate links. Its calculators show in one minute what a heat pump, an electric car or balcony solar costs and saves, first in euros, then in energy and CO2, every number with a source and a check date. In German.

I lived abroad for a long time, in Nicaragua among other places, and I feel deeply connected to nature. Because I work digitally so much, I need nature to balance it out. Wendeclever is meant to help people without wagging a finger: first show what a change brings, instead of talking about giving things up.
Technology and benefits in detail
- Application guide. Shows which application fits (KfW 458, BAFA, market master data register), with a deadline traffic light and a cheat sheet using the field names from the portal.
- Charging points nearby. Data from the Federal Network Agency's charging station register, e-bike charging points from OpenStreetMap. The location stays in the browser, a server job updates the data every month.
- What applies right now. A status traffic light for heating, subsidies, electric cars, CSRD, the supply chain act and e-invoicing.
- Verifiable. A methodology page with every factor and source, werkzeuge.json with formula and worked example for each calculator.
- Fast. In a lab test with slow 4G and a throttled CPU, every page measured loads in 0.9 to 1.2 seconds (Largest Contentful Paint, 11 Oct 2026).
- Its own design. An electricity meter look with its own icon font, Content Security Policy, tap targets of 48 pixels or more.
Pescaday: your fishing day, anywhere
Pescaday is my private, free portal for anglers, without ads or revenue. It plans the fishing day with weather and water levels down to the packing list, shows shops, ponds and fishing spots nearby and answers the questions you have at the water, with sources.

I am a passionate angler. Fishing sustainably and with respect for fish and water matters to me. That is why Pescaday answers the questions everyone has, honestly and with sources.
Technology and benefits in detail
- Live weather and water levels. Data from the German Weather Service and PEGELONLINE right inside the planner.
- Closed seasons and minimum sizes. For all 16 German states and the EU rules on the coast, each species with its legal paragraph and a link to the regulation.
- Catch log by photo. Stored only in the browser or with an account, the catch list is available as a PDF.
- Its own map. Shops, ponds, fishing spots and gauges without third-party map services. A server job maintains the open data every month.
- Easy to read. Atkinson Hyperlegible typeface, hosted locally, contrast up to 16:1, a skip link to the content.
What all three have in common
The three portals are built from the same toolkit. The goal: each one keeps running without me and without AI, and can be handed over as a complete package.
Ready to hand over
A private GitHub repo per portal, backed up automatically after every deploy, and a manual you can read and use without AI.
Runs without AI
Server jobs handle backups, thumbnails, link checks and data updates. AI researches, drafts and screens new photos on Pescaday, on a sparing schedule.
Built for AI search
A fact page, fakten.json, llms.txt and werkzeuge.json. The numbers come straight from the data at build time.
One cockpit
All portals in one password-protected admin cockpit, with key figures refreshed every 15 minutes.
Security and privacy in detail
- Layers, not one wall. Firewall open only for SSH, HTTP and HTTPS, server login by key only, fail2ban against repeated login attempts.
- Watch. A script checks every site hourly and reports anything unusual by email right away, plus a weekly report.
- Backups. Daily backups of the portal data, plus server backups at the hosting provider.
- Closed when in doubt. Protected areas are built fail-closed: if a check is missing, the door stays shut.
- Cloudflare. FameWriting and Pescaday also run behind Cloudflare.
- Privacy. Fonts hosted locally, Google Analytics only after consent, not a single request to Google before that. Own icon fonts instead of third-party icon sets for FameWriting and Wendeclever.

What do FameWriting, Pescaday and Wendeclever have in common technically?
A shared toolkit: a private repository and a manual per portal, data maintenance by server jobs instead of AI, fact pages and llms.txt for AI search engines, one shared admin cockpit and a layered security concept.
Do the portals keep running without AI?
Yes. Server jobs handle backups, data updates and checks. AI helps with research, drafts and screening new photos, and content is checked against sources and fixed house rules before it goes live.
